2. Autumn Laing - Alex Miller
3. The Man Who Loved Children - Christina Stead (not sure about this one - anyone read it?)
4. All That I Am - Anna Funder
5. Those Who Come After - Elisabeth Holdsworth
The last two are related to WW2. I have become more interested in the impact of the war in Europe after visiting there last year and after reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusack. I thoroughly recommend this book - you can read an excerpt here.

I wish I had more time to read. What a lovely pastime it is.
An inspiring list. My 2011 resolution was to read more history and non-fiction in general, which I did, but I need to make more of an effort to educate myself. I spend far too much time with elves and wizards!!
