Aussie humour

Australians have a unique sense of humour, we laugh at ourselves all the time.  It's full of mockery and no subject or person is above it.  We don't mean to offend, it's just how we are.  You know you have a friend when they insult you.  Where else in the world is the word 'bastard' a term of endearment?

Who could forget Eric Bana as Poida?

I lol'd all the way through both these clips. The 'bridge-club' ladies were hilarious - I loved their catty, snarky humour - that show reminded me of a British sit-com 'Absolutely Fabulous' - same kind of privileged whining! Eric Bana looks a bit like our Bob & Doug McKenzie did - right down to the cigarette in the snorkel - in their case, it would have been a straw that led to a beer!!
