We left Auckland around 9 am and headed back to Rotarua. Stopped in Cambridge on the way - a very beautiful little town, and looks just like what I imagine England would look like.We were both very impressed with the centre of Rotarua (which we had bypassed the other day). It's very clean, there are lovely tree-lined streets and flower beds everywhere. While Kevin went and looked at a harvesting operation, I went shopping and rang home. I was about to go for a massage - there are lots of day spas in Rotarua - Kevin was finished so I went to pick him up. We went for a drive to see some of the beautiful lakes surrounding Rotarua. We booked into a backpackers for the night and found a fantastic Indian restaurant "Indian Star".
The only downside to Rotarua was the rotten egg smell from the sulphur that comes out of the geysers!
