I felt like creating this afternoon and I'd been wondering what one of my favourite photos might look like with some Kim Klassen painterly treatment...well I really like it! What do you think? I used Kim's Sienna and Finale textures.
What a GREAT!! photo...is that Ozzie land?? just love eucalyt's... they were what I missed the most while living in TN.. Love the antiques and age related pic also...
Thanks Jane, I was really happy with the effect :)
Thanks Debra, it's hard to believe people used to live in this shack, now there's only one side left and last time I was there it had deteriorated even more.
Hi Crystal Mary, thanks for visiting me :)
Yes it is in Western Australia at an abandoned town on the water pipeline between Perth and Kalgoorlie, the shack used to be the telegraph office! I'm pretty sure the tree is what we call a salmon gum - Eucalyptus salmonophloia if you're into botanical names :)

Wow, I can definitely see why it's called a painterly effect - this photo now looks just like a painting!
Cool. Home sweet shack.
