Where did the silly season go? One minute we're gearing up for Christmas, the next it's all over! We had a lovely Christmas day with our daughter and her fiance and our two sons. We had the traditional hot lunch: Roast Beef, Turkey Roll with cranberry sauce, roast potatoes and pumpkin, mashed sweet potato with heaps of garlic, fresh green beans, honeyed carrots and marsala gravy. We were too full to have the fruit platter for dessert. Lisa and I spent some quality time on the back verandah, chatting about life and things in general. It was nice to have plenty of time to catch up.
I spent some time playing with my new camera over the Christmas break. It's a real beauty and I'm getting the hang of it. I can see I'm going to need a tripod though - some of the sunset photos are a bit blurry! I was a bit late getting out there - hopefully the conditions will be good again tonight for another try.

I had fun playing with the continuous shooting mode on the camera. Luckily I had a willing model in Lisa :)
