In Limbo...

 My MIL has cancer - it's terminal and she doesn't have long left.  She is still at home and hopes to stay there for as long as possible.   I understand why she wants to stay home and she is so very lucky that she has enough extended family that it is viable.  It's been a very topsy turvy time for us all, firstly coming to terms with her illness and prognosis, happy times spent reminiscing and looking through photographs and journals, sad times planning her funeral with her.  Now it just feels to me like we are just waiting.....we are in limbo.
